Why give to North Point?

If you are a regular attender or a member of North Point we hope the answer is obvious. Hopefully you are attending because you believe North Point is your church family, and you feel most able to grow and contribute worshiping with us. Like any family, we need to be fed and to support and care for each other, and some of your giving goes to ensuring the pastoral, administrative and material resources we need to do this are available. These day-to-day expenses account for about 80% of regular giving.

The remaining 20% of North Point’s giving by regular attenders is spent on bringing the Gospel to our communities. We do this in many ways. By working with charities, getting involved in local and overseas ministries, and by engaging and influencing the culture we live in.

North Point also receives gifts from those who are excited about our ministries, but who are not part of our congregation. Because these gifts are discretionary, we do not include them in the day-to-day expenses of the church. Instead, they are added to the 20% of regular giving spent on bringing the Gospel to our communities.
