Adult Education

When we open our minds to the thoughts of others who also want to understand and know God, we mature in our faith. Northpoint provides hospitable space to gain understanding of life experiences where faith matters. We expect God’s presence so we might experience change in our own lives. Our goal is much more than simply to become spiritual. It is to be more complete; vocationally, relationally … becoming whole in every part of our lives. The goal of adult education at North Point is to equip our congregation and those we influence to better imagine and realize the coming of God’s Kingdom.
Education Hour: Sundays 11:45-12:45
This fall our education hour will take two different forms:
Every third Sunday of the month we have the opportunity as a large group to hear the personal testimonies of the members of one of our service teams. Come and get to know a little bit more about the people sitting in the pew next to you and find out why they spend time serving at North Point!
On the second and fourth Sundays of the month we host various spiritual life classes. These classes are run on a sign-up basis, and consist of book or topical studies led by qualified members of our congregation. Classes run for a total of seven weeks and vary in size based on the number of sign-ups.
This fall we have three spiritual life classes which you can sign up for. Please click the links below to learn more.
- Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Life Together led by Chris Gilbert
- J.I. Packer’s Knowing God led by Brad Coon
- Music in Corporate Worship led by Jonathan Gerber
We hope you can join us! If you have any questions or would like to sign up for a class please contact Brad Coon
