Children and Youth

Providing Christian formation for our children and youth is one of the primary calls of all parents. It is natural that this should occur in partnership with the Church. At North Point, we try to ensure our kids are nurtured in faith, grow in knowledge and experience of the bigness of God’s Kingdom, and are inspired and empowered to live as personal disciples of Jesus Christ. This ensures they live truly full and rich lives of joyful service.

Little Lambs is held during the worship service for PreK children. Children are dismissed during the second part of the service to join the nursery for a time of worship and fun together, including Bible stories and play activities

Kids of the Kingdom is held during the worship service for children Kindergarden through third grade. The children are dismissed during the second part of the service for a time of discipleship and learning.   At certain times of the year this is set aside as a time of worship specifically designed for the needs and abilities of this age group.

Church School for children in grades 4 through 6 is held after church from 11:30-12:30 during the school year.  This is a great time of kid-friendly fellowship and teaching in which kids are invited to discover their place in the biblical drama and to see how God has involved them in his covenant.

Middle and High School.    We seek to involve our youth fully in the life of the church..  The youth also meet on Sundays after church (11:30-12:30) for small group mentoring, exploring faith in ways that are relevant and fun.

Curriculum for most classes comes from Faith Alive (www.faithaliveresources.org).   Kids are given a take home paper each week so families can explore the stories together at home.

Please note, that everyone who works with children at North Point is CORI checked and we have a strict written safety policy designed to ensure child safety. Copies of this policy are available from any of the children’s ministry areas at North Point.
