Communal Worship

Communal worship at North Point aims to be meaningful for both believers and unbelievers. We embrace the profoundness of the Christian faith and preserve the richness of our theological heritage—God-focused, not human-centered. At the same time, we explain what we are doing during the service and why. We do this the same way we preach—using down-to-earth language rather than jargon to communicate spiritual truth. We use a variety of musical styles, from traditional hymns to modern choruses to various ethnic musical influences.

We are striving for a multigenerational and multiethnic integration and interaction that promotes genuine love and concern in all directions. We will aim to inspire a love for God, a love for each other and a love for our culture and the world, promoting lives that are directed upward to God, inward to the edification of the church body, and outward to those who have not yet recognized Christ as the Lord of the universe.

We extend a warm welcome to all, regardless of where you are with God, what traditions you are familiar with, or what you previous experience with church has been, and invite you to add your voice to ours as we worship on Sundays.
